4 steps to start Digital marketing


Dear entrepreneur, future’s entrepreneur, new entrepreneur (or entrepreneur’s friends and family, who always love and want to help your entrepreneur :D

The point is that you are very aware of fast and various changes in marketing, but how can you adapt EFFECTIVELY to them?
  1. How digitalization changes marketing world? Simple solutions that you all know: (and that is great that you all know and you can do it! Just keep up with your dream!)

Nowadays, the old way no longer works: Ford car’s advertisement jumps in between customers’ favorite movie; and Ford says: buy a car, buy a car!  Buy Ford car!

They don’t want Ford car.
They don’t even want to have a new car at all.
Hence, Ford changes to newspaper’s advertisement. 1 month later, there is a super big and impressing advertisement in ‘’New York time’’ saying: Ford is having a new model, buy Ford car, buy Ford car.

Do you think the ways work? No, never, of course, they could work in 1960s but they never have any impact on people in 2015 (or even 2000 onwards)

Ford is smarter now, the company changes to advertise on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, its own website, send emails regularly to potential customers, have Instagram account with thousands of like and share… Do you think they can follow digital trend in marketing?

Taking advantages of online tools is not a successful marketing strategy, taking FULL advantages of Internet and digitalization is the right path for your marketing strategy.

STEP 1: Initially, you have to finish your homework about your customer.

Who are they? What do they need? Where can you find them? Asking and telling stories, understanding everything relevant to your target group.


(Some tips: Love your customer, pretending to be your customer, going inside their mind, listening to their feelings, their desire and try your best to serve, please getting involved in your customer’s life, don’t just tell your story, listen to people’s stories!)
